Yes, I'm excited. I go there about twice a year, and the only reason I went today was because Joe Meno told me about a message board topic about improving the Lego mag, and the kids there were saying they wanted things like more comics. Understandable, but don't these kids want more info on the Lego community, y'know like seeing inside the Lego building in Denmark and interviews with the master builders and stuff?

So I wandered over to Lego.com, logged in, and checked out the message board. I posted this in the "how would you improve the mag" topic or whatever it's title is. It's the one with over 16 pages of posts.

*More articles: Interviews with set designers and story guys. Show what's going on in the Lego Company's office and inside their heads. Stuff on the Lego Community and what's going on (good job on the BrickWorld promo, Mr. Farshtey. Glad a con got some publicity!).

*I also noticed that the Bionicle Comics have gotten smaller. Bulk that up please.

*On the topic of alternate building instructions, it's really annoying to see "Build this!" out of two $50 sets. I'd prefer, say, an alternate build for 1 $15 set I probably have.

*Features on Adult Lego Builders. That Mecha article in the first BrickMaster was great!

*Basically I want a magazing I can sit down with and read for a while!

I could have gone off even more, but then it'd seem like I was flaming. Like I was about to talk more about the Mecha article and how I think Eric Sophie is a great builder and because of that article I learned about that elite Mecha builder's club and found their Brickshelf (I don't know if the message board would have appreciated me mentioning BrickShelf). I was also about to say how much better BrickJournal is but I figured that's Joe Meno's job (he's the editor) so I just listed stuff I wanted in Lego mag using BrickJournal as a base for inspiration on my list. I'd also like to comment on how I liked the Mosaic pix of jungle animals that were put up in the children hospital.
