Final Fantasy Versus Xiii

The Final Fantasy XIII Compilation (Fabula Nova Crystallis), comprises of 3 different games. The main title Final fantasy XIII (PS3) and two other games Final Fantasy Versus XIII (PS3) and Final Fantasy Agito XIII (Mobile Phone). Each of these games has a seperate storyline and are neither prequel nor sequel to each other. Basically they are 3 seperate games with Final Fantasy XIII in the title. :P

 

Anyways, of the 3 games, the only one I am looking forward to is FFVersusXIII you can see the 2 screenshots above from the preview).

 

"The story, like Final Fantasy XIII, focuses around crystals. The King, the mysterious main character, leads the country holding the last crystal, which is beneficial to the military. At one time, all the other countries also possessed a crystal yet lost them in warfare. They pooled their resources into weapons, granting them rifles in exchange for swords and magic. A long cold war has gone on about the usage of the crystal. Recently, a peace treaty was talked about between the countries, but a group of marauders are beginning to break it."

 

Not to mention the violence factor is gonna be huge. Basically there will be some bloody neck breaking involved and stuff that was never present in the previous games. :P

It's quite an ambitious project by Square with this one. The only downside is I'm not too encouraged to get a PS3 just yet. If the prices start dropping and Rock Band rocks as hard as they say it will...then maybe we'll talk.

 

Interesting name change by the way. May I ask what inspired the shift to an X-2 name?

Yuna is a hawt summoner, and her Floral Fallal dress sphere is bodacious. So is her Lady Luck and Gunner. :P

Versus 13, and Final Fantasy Agito 13, you were only looking forward

to Versus. I was wondering why you were only looking forward to

FFXIII didn't catch my attention as much as Versus did, and Agito is only for the mobile phone in Japan so far, so I am not even gonna bother paying attention to that. :P
