Plasma Grenades+corridors...

Argh....

At least I haven't had to fight any Hunters in corridors yet.

I just got the original Halo for PC, and it is utterly awesome.

Except that Keyes keeps dying. Stupid Plasma Grenades. He's too stupid to back away when the Grunts throw them. Argh.

Anybody wanna do multiplayer sometime today, if I can tear myself away from the campaign?

I wish I had it.... *sniff*

Here's a funny story about Plasma Grenades:

My friend was playing on his PC, and he decided to mess up his team. So he got out of his Warthog and threw a Plasma Grenade at the car, with the passenger and gunner still in it. Now, the passanger was smart enough to realize what's going on, and he leaps out of the Warthog and starts running towards my friends. It's just about there when the Grenade explodes, sending the Warthog flying through the air. With the gunner dead, my friend and the passenger are the only survivors... or not. The Warthog comes crashing down right on top of the running passenger, and he dies.

Another random Halo story:

My friend blew up his first Banshee, and begun leaping with glee, exclaiming: "I DID IT! I DID IT!" Then he was crushed by the Banshee that he destroyed.

'Nother funny thing...

Elite charges me while he's in a Ghost. I duck, and throw a Plasma Grenade straight up. It sticks to the bottom of the Ghost and blows it up.

Also: Sniper Rifles. 'Nuff said.

Halo for PC is... is... well, it is.

I would play you, but my internet is too slow.

Yeah, I'm on the Flood level right now, but just barely, so none of them have showed up. The grunts are unusually spooked, though.

Bungie did such a good job of making an atmosphere with the background music. It actually makes it feel creepy.

*runs for shotgun*

*shoots Flood*

*runs from Combat Forms*

Halo is awesome... I'm not sure if it is as good on PC as it is on the Xbox. (My opinion, MY OPINION!) I agree with you completely, Marty O'Donnell is a genius. For those who don't know, he writes the Halo musicz.

I know, awesome, right? I tell ya, when I first played "343 Guilty spark" I was scared faceless.

(Oh, and incase you haven't read the wikipidea article, you won't be seeing any hunter-flood, the anatomy of hunters makes them immune.)

Right now I'm trying to rescue Keyes from the Covenant ship.

The Library was bad, but after a little bit you get used to the Flood, so it's not as irritating as the previous level. The worst part of the game so far is between the first and second energy things that you have to destabilize. It's one of those round rooms that I absolutely hate. I literally died over a hundred times trying to pass that area. It was way harder than the Library.

I'll post a new blog entry pretty soon, so the first seven people who comment will be sent the server name so we can do 4v4 Slayer.

The Library has to be my least favorite level in Halo CE. It was just repetitive and annoying. Although, I always love the level section called "Fourth floor, appliances, tools, keys to ancient super weapons." Or something to that extent...

I would play you, but I don't own Halo 1 on Pc. Even if I did, my computer hates me, so it wouldn't run. D=

What mode are you playing it on?

Oh. Normal Difficulty.

I beat it half an hour ago. 6 or 7 hours of playing time. And I only got it yesterday.

I made the end run in the Warthog with 4 second left, 'cos it flipped on a jump.

Favorite parts of the game: Sniping Elites on AotCC. And the end run. 'Twas awesome.

I'm just mad that you can't kill Guilty Spark.

Worst seven words in the game: Wait here for the Monitor to return. Aagh!! >_<

I'm gonna get Halo 2 for Vista and then the compatibility program so it'll run on XP.

Actually, they didn't, for some reason. I believe that they have a deal of some sort. They're giving Microsoft their souls or something. XP

I'll have to buy Halo 2, but if I order from the guys who're doing the compatibility software, I'll get the software(not Halo) for free.

Wait...they have compatibility software?!

Anywho, yes, I play, and I like to consider myself the best member of my clan (Chillygames, look them up) when it comes to CTF. Slayer...not so much, but I toss a mean plasma - which brings up a funny story and one of my favorite strategies.

First, the story. I was in Blood Gulch on a CTF run, and incredibly bored (I had just scored 4 of the 5 needed points in a row >.> the other team was, pardon my expression, pretty newb-ish) so I tossed all my plasma grenades. Suddenly I saw the message "Triple Kill" along with the names of a few of my opponents. Turns out they were driving a hog torwards the base, and a couple of my plasmas had stuck to their hog XD

Oh, and the strategy. On any small level (this works for Campaign mode, though not so much) with Infinite Nades, camp out like you're going to snipe, but instead of sniping, toss grenades randomly. You're guaranteed to get a few kills and the occasional "ach!" =P

And I'll gladly play with you as soon as my internet connection quits acting crazy. My question is this: Are you as good at Halo as you are at MOCing? Hehehe...

Yeah, that'd be nice - you should also grab XFire while you're at it. Great messenger, especially for Halo (works for others too), and it's completely free - think of it as an instant messenger that lets you automatically join the server a friend is in, or message them in-game. ^.^ (If you get it, my tag's Trexxen - add me ^.^)

And no-scoping is the way to go. I notice that after my two years of thief-assisted hiatus, I completely changed my fighting style - I used to always snipe (and I could hit someone in a ghost, but that's what a year of practice gets ya) and now I stink at it - again, my calling is CTF. I'm an evil little strategist there.
