I'm not a huge Metroid fan (never really got into it) but it is a rather funny edit. And its actually quite good looking, for how simple it is... I thing a little photoshop fading around the edges will make it look more real, making it funnier.

Yeah, I've never played the games, but I think Samus is cool.

The edit was originally made with MSpaint, but I had to do the blurring in Photofiltre, which is an awesome free program.

That's the point. In the end of Metroid, Samus took of her helmet and turned out to be a girl.

What if that happened in Halo.

Chances are that was just a placeholder for his face. Just in case someone felt like driving a mongoose behind someone.

You can never tell with Bungie. Even their interpretation of the events on Installation 04 was botched.
