A Week Gone Right
We must celebrate all the good news, y'know, instead of the morbid mentality we have of being attracted to any bad news that occur.
First on the list is the Transforming Sound (from the original Transformers cartoons) that I received from my friend as a ringtone. As Nokia goes, if you leave the phone in its 'General' profile, it shall make noise.
That happened when someone quite wisely sent me an SMS during class time. I had left the phone in 'General' mode.
Cue in the shock and laughter as everyone realised where the sound came from.
Since we have no stringent rules about handphones, all I suffered was a bit of embarrassment and a knowing eye from the lecturer. It was fun - everyone needed a laugh anyway.
Secondly, this week was one really hectic week. It felt like it had dragged on for too long to be a week, but today is Friday and I have survived two night-meets, two impromptu sessions in school to help out my classmates in their assignments, a day where I literally was sent running around the campus of the school (Oh my aching legs) and a presentation for a module.
Thirdly, I dropped my laptop. It survived.
Next, I'm still alive and well. There's been a spate of illness going around and some of my classmates got it. I didn't.
And finally, to give myself a bit of a reward of a week survived and well-managed, I made my way down to a Japanese restaurant and, lucky me, it had a buffet promotion going on that fit in my weekly budget! So I helped myself to the food - a lot of food.
I'm in a good mood today. And I'll relish it.
