Nocturn Review
The Unofficial Nocturn Review
When I go to a department store to buy a new Lego set, I use the box to determine which one to buy. Nocturn's box impressed me greatly.
Here's the front. Front
And here's the back. Back
There's a Toa Mahri teaser of some sort on the back as well. Can you find it? Look at the shadowy figures in the lower-right; it's Kongu, Hahli, and Nuparu.
Building Nocturn was very easy. The instructions are pretty straight forward, and the overall design isn't too complex.
Head - Different angle of Head
Here he is finished. Nocturn
Size-wise, Nocturn is larger than all of the Barraki, Nocturn and Kalmah, but he's not as large as the massive Brutaka.
His tentacle is the same as Kalmah's, but is in silver. Comparison
Nocturn is also very easy to pose. Maybe it's just the four arms, but he looks really cool in a bunch of different poses.
He's also great to have with the Mahritoran.
Run Away! - Still Running - Gotcha
I would without any doubt recommend that you buy Nocturn. He glows in the dark, costs on $15 (USD), and has many lime green pieces. He's got a lot of potential for posing, and finally, his pieces can be used over and over in MOC's too. Here's the Gallery.
Well, that's it... I hope this helps you to decide whether or not to get Nocturn. If there are reviews of sets that you want me to do, leave a comment or PM me and I'll see what I can do. Until next time...
