Anyway... Rome, Rome... hm... been to the Pantheon? Big domed roof? How about Ostia or Pompeii? Senate House? (they probably don't let you see the actual spot Caesar was killed, but still...)

And regardless of taste, you now get to say you've had genuine Italian pizza...

And, well, I have a roommate to falls asleep listening to music... white noise helps, I set the air conditioner to fan, timer half an hour, it cancels the music in my room. Though unfortunately I don't suppose snoring has a volume control that you can sneak in and lower, unlike a laptop...

I don't know much about Europe, having never actually been there... have fun though, and I'm sure we'll all miss your blog.

I'll keep that in mind. We'll only be there for a day, but anything to pass the time.

We may have seen the Senate House, if not gone inside. We're only going to be here one more day and we're going to the Catacombs, but we've been walking a lot and I think our rule is that if we can't get there on foot, we probably aren't going there.
