I'm only on chapter 14 in HP 7.

If I was the "solo reader", I would be finished by now (at least, I think), but my mom is reading it out loud to me and my sister. I keep pestering her (mom) to read more (she's only reading a chapter at a time) but my sister keeps running off and doing her own thing.

It drives me crazy! That book is awesome, and I don't want to stop reading it. But thanks to my sister, we can't read it 24/7. (note the part where I said she reads to my sister and myself)
