I Hate Mondays
Just about everyone hates Mondays, right?
Have you ever felt that some Mondays just go out of their way to make you feel even worse?
First thing I heard when I woke up was rain. Torrential rain. You can imagine how the rest of my day went. >m<
So after eating breakfast I put on my jacket and grabbed my umbrella and went outside. The puddles were, I swear, two inches deep in places, and not easy to avoid either, and all the umbrella did was channel the water that would have fallen on my jacket down onto my pants. What's worse, I'd been so used to wearing sandals in the warm summer weather than I had put them on without thinking, and my feet were freezing!
I got to class and realized I'd left my wallet, which contained my student ID and key, in my room.
And I was still in sandals and drenched pants.
Beautiful day.
And I just had a scene of HP7 completely ruined by a stray thought I had, so I had to stop reading, because it was distracting me... I'd seen this thing that showed sequences from the first two Harry Potter movies, with subtitles badly translated from some other language, Japanese I think... but at one point Hermione is looking distraught, she's standing in Hagrid's house, and the subtitle reads "He called me a melon." Apparently "Muggle" and "Mudblood" had no proper Japanese equivalent... Come to think of it, why translate from English, to another language, and back to English again? oO But whatever, it was hilarious how they kept using "melon" in such random situations... "They're killing all the melons." I'll bet none of you will ever read "Muggle" the same way again And the other horrible translations, that clash with the original scenes...
Aw man, It was so funny (but not all parts of it were BZP appropriate, due to translation issues, and it was hosted on a site that also hosts more PG-13 stuff)
