The sea... When we have the sea nearby, no one loves it. When it's far, you want to go there. What do we want of the sea? Just water, and we can't drink it

I love the ocean as well. My family always goes over to the beach and looks for sea glass and sand dollars whenever we ride over to New Jersey. It's awesome.

Night Terror -- Heh, exactly. But no, it's more like a stinging.

Nikira -- Eh, Jersey isn't the best place for the beach. At least not South Jersey, I dunno about other places. The water here is more of an unhealthy greyish.

We go up to North Jersey. Not the best place to go swimming, I agree, but eh, it's the beach, so we don't really mind. We just stroll and dig for stuff in the tides.

Now CA's beaches are niiiiice...

So I've heard. Sadly, the farthest west I've been was close to the western border of PA, and that was only when my mother took a wrong turn coming back from Hershey Park (which is beyond me, since that's closer to NJ, which is where we were trying to go).

Oh, and my eye magically got better, so there's a new chapter up.

I think you might like beaches of Australia (or Florida). They're a lot cleaner than some of the other beaches around the world. And they're are bright blue!

Oh yes, I've been in the Gulf of Mexico near Florida. Beautiful! No matter how far out you are, it's so clear you can see straight to the bottom (I was on a cruise ship)!

But I'd LOVE to go to Australia. Seems like a great place.
