If you're waiting for another person to be raving about Transformers then you've come to the wrong place.

Yes, I saw it (for my first time ><) and I thought it was pretty good, not great, not bad, just good...pretty good.

Pros:
The action, it was unbelievably amazing. It blew my mind. The best part of the movie by far. So awesome.
Shia Leboeuf. His acting was great.
Megatron. Whoa, talk about the evil of all evils. O_O

Cons:
The plot. Yeah, very stereotypical.
Characters. Again, stereotypical.
Too much language. Wow, there was way too much of it. Way too much.
The Autobots. Lame, in my mind.

Overall: Not bad, and the action makes up for some of it's bad spots.

...

And Megan Fox wasn't that bad, now that I look back on her performance. Her acting wasn't that bad; kinda flowed with Shia's.

...

But the movie was a bit of a let down, compared to what almost every BZP member had said.

...

I just sure hope they don't make a sequel. ><

This is actually what I heard... that plot was bad, effects were good.

But whenever I repeat that to someone they hit me and throw me into a deep, dark hole. But that's okay. I like the dark.

I still haven't seen it, and I'm in no rush to.

I'd see it just for the effects. They were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! :D

2 more sequels have been confirmed, dude.

To much language? Pffft. That movie had hardly any if you compare it to some of the other movies recently released. :P

The plot had its bad points every now and then, but the main theing people look for in that movie is giant transforming robots that kick the snot out of each other.

Dude, that's not plot, that's drama. And I mainly liked Megatron 'cause he was so cool-lookin'. :P

Um...the cars and the MD robots were fine (awesomely CGI'd though). And, um, I didn't laugh at that part, in fact, I hardly laughed at all throughout that movie. :rolleyes:

True, but those other movies aren't based of a giga-popular toy line. This one attracts children.

Yeah, I can bet that is soooo not SZ's humor taste. I don't even know what it is, and I DON'T want to know, either.

 

But still, that is my favorite movie. Mainly for it's special effects. That movie has so much action, It's kkinda hard to notice much language,IMO.

Yeah, you do NOT want to know. :fear: And yes, the visual effects were amazing, but I could very well notice the language. ;)

Well, think about it. You're a teenager. If you were being chased by a giant robot armed with all kinds of horrible weaponry specifically designed for remvoign your organs from your body and rearranging them in alphabetical order, would you swear?

 

However, I agree about the happy hour conversation. The movie could have done without that.
