Under any other circumstance, I would have excitedly described my family's day trip to the L.A. County Fair by now, along with my birthday plans. I'd explain that my birthday means so many things, like the beginning of the great holidays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas... Yet not this year. With the anniversary of September Eleventh, and the Bionicle story depicting Mata Nui's Death and subsequent tragedies, September 2007 is indeed grim.

But I think it's also for another reason: I have a strong feeling that something terrible is about to happen in my personal life.
