September Aus Lego Mag

It was a surprise to me to see this today. Even though it is September. Anyway, here's my usual rant about this one.

First off, I was surprised to find this little number within the catalogue. Yes, a little Fire Boat. They should really do this more often, otherwise I'll get so annoyed with getting these magazines. But, hey, I'm getting them free, as I say everytime.

This issue came with Mahri stickers, which for once look pretty pretty nice. Onto the actual magazine though, and I find an improvement! ALL the 'Cool Creations' are actually CREATIONS! Finally, they've got the idea. And some of them aren't that bad. For their ages.

Onto other things, the magazin is predominantly about the Mars Mission sets, which I must say are pretty good sets. They talk about the sets themselves, and also facts about the red planet. Then there is some SW Sets info, a Mahri board game called Hydraxon's Hunt Game, original, an interview with Christoffer Raundahl, who was one of the designers of the Mahri, and it's quite an interesting interview, instructions for a Mutant Manta Ray, and some LEGO City stuff, with a Castle promo on the back.

I have to say I wasn't overly disappointed with this issue. It's a step in the right direction.

Oh, and there's a competition to win 2 Mahri AND a Mahri bag. Myaswell enter I s'pose. Try and win Jaller and Hahli.

If only it was.

No, VERY occaisionally they put in a little set in there. And when I mean occasionally, I mean this is the second time in 2 years.
