Master Chief Stole My Life!

Halo 3 is full of win... and lose... and a whole bunch of ties. (Darn that Team Objective Matchmaking!) The multiplayer things are just so much fun except for the Team Tactical playlist, which seems to be nothing but a gametype called "Eliminatio." The point is to get five kills each round before the other team; sure it's somewhat fun, but what's the point of having only one gametype in a differently-named playlist? Why not just call it "Team Eliminatio"?

I think one of the pointless yet kind of useful things about Xbox 360 is Achievements (goals for each game that add to your overall gamerscore). Whatever happened to playing for the sake of playing? Yet I feel compelled to complete them in every game I play.

No, that's not all I've been doing since Halo 3 came out, but I have been playing it quite a lot... because it's nice to team up with a bunch of random strangers I met online against some other random strangers I met online.* Of course, it's fun to take on random strangers with friends.

One downside is part of the scoring system; I want to know why your EXP goes down if something happens with the connection during a custom game. Why does the custom game have any effect whatsoever. After all, it should just be something to basically check out the maps before the real deal or just for fun, but I guess that makes it necessary to create a non-Live gamertag if you don't want anything to happen to your score. Of course, it also makes the scoring system seem somewhat exploitable that way.

Now that talked about Halo, enjoy these post script messages...

*I'm legally obligated to say that I am not condoning talking to random strangers. In other words, if I don't know you, don't talk to me... I'm a very random stranger.**

**It's actually okay to talk to me, but many people it is not.***

I wish I could finish the fight... But, alas, I need money…

How do you like the ending, without giving any spoilers? You have finished the campaign, haven't you?

Good to hear some feedback about the multiplayer. Sound like fun. I can't wait until I get to play.

But like my brother asked, what's your take on the ending?

The ending felt lackluster... not that I ever really followed the storyline, but it seemed kind of pointless. That didn't make total sense. Also, I think someone wasted two parts of previous storyline... reminded me of Spider-Man 3. :glare:
