Tis A Brand New Color Scheme!

I have concocted a new color scheme for stone Toa.

It isn't like any I've seen before, but who knows? It's been a while since I've been in the BBC forum.

Ready? Okay... the colors are...

(metru) Brown and white!

I've always loved the way those colors looked together, but I haven't made an MOC with them until now. It's a self MOC, but I can't finish it until I get one of those new Toa Blasters.

So, what do you think? Do you think it would look good?

With all due cookies, candy etc,

UGH.

We don't need Stone elemented characters coming in any more colors than they already have. And I mean really, Brown and White? Ugh...

Really, If they keep changing the colorscheme for stone elemented characters like this, we'll end up seeing a Toa in Mountbatten Pink.

I just checked it out. Very nice... I wish I had thought of it... Just make sure to keep the balance about 50/50. Too much brown, the white looks too weird. Too much white, the brown looks out of place.

Brown and white is a very nice colour scheme.

However, I prefer brown and black.

I do prefer brown/black to brown/white, but I'd support brown/lime more if done correctly.

Brown and White is the color scheme I used to dream of for a Mata Nui MOC. Now that brown is pretty much out of the question, I don't have such high hopes for it. But it's still something to think about.

Think about it this way: White is a more common color for stone than yellow. I'm not adding another color scheme, I'm fixing an existing one.

Or something.

You should still make the Toa in Mountbatten Pink, anyway. PINK TOA FTW!

Really, It's cheeziness would own all other MoCs. The only problem I can think of is that I don't think standard Bionicle pieces come in that shade, or pink in general. You could probably improvise with normal pieces(namely certain panels) in that color though. I think Lego makes them...

Well, alright, I'll admit: brown and white would probably be good enough. XD

Commonness has nothing to do with it. After all, white is also a more common color for air than green. So is blue.

Also, don't dis yellow. Look at any cartoon desert. Their sand is yellow or a slight variation on the same almost as often as cartoon water is blue. (Well, maybe not that often, but pretty close). Also, considering how many people want a Play-Doh level of brightness to Toa colors like we had in '01-'03, I'm surprised the brighter stone set color, yellow, does not fare well with the same people.

Ah, but I can see satire in that post of yours. No matter what one's opinions may be, expressing them in a way anyone can appreciate as funny is always tolerable IMHO. So lest this entry become another outlet for ranting about what colors are better than others, I'll take my leave on the note that a brown and white stone set or MOC would be pure ownage.
