Storywise, which element do you like more?

Storyline, I guess ice for their personalities and the element power is cool, I can just imagine it...but for a long time I've liked Ice, Air, and Stone. (But stone only after the Nuva came out. I converted to a brown lover after receiving Pohatu and Pohatu Nuva. Awesome!)

I doubt it. There's Kopaka for $4.50 and I've been wanting him forever, and a Brown Akaku for $0.45, and then a Turaga for $2.70. Add in Paypal and shipping costs (which should only be $1 or so) there isn't enough to buy both.

Unless I can get this guy to a WAMALUG meeting, he said he's heard of it but hasn't come, but lives nearby. Then I can buy both and much, much more! (Like Life on Mars, more Kanohi....)

Onewa's the rarer of the two, but Nuju's the more poular.

I'd say go with what you want, I'd snatch up Nuju myself. <3 White Mata heads <3

You can get white Mata heads more easily by themselves because they come in more sets. Go for Onewa.

I'd personally go for Nuju (but what can I say... I eventually bought them all in 2001) You'd find most of his white pieces (Toa head pieces) in Rahi sets (Tarakava, I think) but the Pick and Matatu is cooler. Onewa only has the Toa heads and hammer in brown, so if you're getting him for just those pieces, I would probably advice against it. But get Nuju to go along wiht Kopaka. (He's extra cool, isn't he? )

thanks guys! I seem to be getting mixed feelings on this.

I've been after Kopaka since almost forever, but for some reason got Lewa first. Must have been the ax or the green. I like nature. ('cept I'm allergic to pollen....)

I guess you're right about Kopaka and Nuju being paired.

If it's strictly for MOCing, then your reasoning for Brown is a good one. There's less brown in Bionicle so if you ever need it you're going to be hard pressed to find it in recent sets.

Tricky... Those are my two favorites. It's a tough call---Onewa's good for looks, but I think Nuju would be better for pieces.

Why don't you get all of it on borrowed money?

I think "I'll order" Nuju, then tell the guy I'll mail him $3 cash for Onewa, and have him ship it all at once.
