S&t Quotes 7

More quotes from my notepad:

1) What's the difference between the power of a Great Kiril and the Staff of Artakha?

2) Does the Staff of Artakha have another name?

1) As you will see before the year is out, SOA has much greater range, for one thing

2) No

1. On the subject of those things the Makuta have, are they really called "Shadow Leeches"?

1) Yup

Good theory, but no -- we built 2007 around killing a Toa, we are not doing the same in 2008 as it would get redundant. So no plans to kill Takanuva.

Greg

11. Does the Red Star produce Toa and/or elemental energy?

12. Have the beings inside the Red Star ever been on and/or in the BIONICLE planet before?

13. Are they bio-mechanical?

11) Can't answer it

12) No

13) Can't answer it

1) If there are Av Matoran, would it be so far-fetched for there to be Shadow Matoran somewhere? And I really don't expect a flat-out yes, but is it possible? Ta Matoran's opposite is Ga Matoran, and Darkness is equally important to life as Light, in my standards. I know we haven't seen Shadow Matoran before, and heck I don't expect to anytime soon, if there are any, and I'm not a huge fan of a Toa of Shadow (interesting concept, but predictable situation), but I just wanted a definite answer of

A. No, there is no such thing or

B. Possibly.

And what are your thoughts on Shadow Matoran, if you were to consider them? Would they autimatically be evil? Would they be shunned? Misunderstood? Similar powers to Av-Matoran, but with obvious opposites?

1) Currently, there is no such thing. The only way one could exist, since there is no such thing in nature, is for an existing Matoran to be drained of all light, which would corrupt him/her.

4a) First off, there is no city in the sky. And second, remember who they are fighting next year -- they have Brotherhood of Makuta to deal with, they are not free to just all go searching for stuff.

1. Is it possible for Makuta to influence Mata Nui mentally when he is asleep? Like putting a suggestion in his mind, a vision, etc.

1) There's nothing to influence. He's in a coma. Can you put an idea into someone's head when their mind is shut down?

3.) Not sure if you can answer this, but here goes: If the Ignika (After Matoro used it) fell into the Swamp, then how did it get from there to having a body and being in the same area as the Nuva/Makuta, and flying around with them. Does BL9 explain this a little bit more?

3) Not sure why this is hard to figure out -- if it makes a body for itself and flies out of the swamp, problem solved.

A point that has popped up in the Official Powers Topic. Tell me if this statement is right:

A Makuta is more powerful than a Toa, though a Toa's elemental power would have a wider range than the respective Rahkshi power the Makuta controls.

Basically, even though a Makuta has the power of Magnetism (example element), a Toa of Magnetism's Magnetism power is much more powerful.

I don't see it that way, no. I see what you are able to do with your power as being limited by three things --your willpower, your imagination, and (this is a big one) your experience with the power. A Makuta might have a magnetism power but never have bothered to use it much, given that he had 40+ other ones, and so might not be as skilled with it as a Toa of Magnetism would be. But in terms of sheer raw power, he would still be on a par.

I was under the impression though that even though a Makuta had more power, the elemental power of a Toa had a wider range of uses/possibilities...

But the use of a power is basically dictated by your imagination -- how you think to use it. The raw power of, say, magnetism, is still magnetism -- but how you put that power to use is really dictated by how creative you are.

1) So can a Makuta did what Vakama did and absorb all of one element in the area?

2) I didn't think Makuta have EE...

1) Yes and no. For example, a Makuta cannot absorb all sound in the area the way a Toa of Sonics can, but he doesn't have to -- he has a silence power.

2) They don't have the same source of power the Toa do, which is why they don't command every Toa element. But they do have some similar powers, and if you have, for example, sonics, there are only so many ways you can use it.
