Auserv: Toa-Kal of Emotion

For the past few months, I've been working on my own atlas, made in a little notebook, that details a lot of info about the islands in my epics. I've even drawn maps of some of them. Maybe I can share some of that confidential information with you guys? Here... I'll give you all a shortened version of these entires.

Ayomeii:

Ayomeii is home to Pa-Matoran (Matoran of Plasma), Palif-Matoran (Matoran of Plantlife), and Ta-Matoran (Matoran of Fire). They were exiles from Dyteeli after a large civil war on that island. After trouble with native creatures, they summoned help from Dyteeli and they sent their Onu-Matoran population as well. The natives were driven back, but another civil war threatened to start, so the Palif-Matoran and Onu-Matoran were sent to an uninhabited island in the south of the dome to cool off. Eventually, the Palif-Matoarn returned alone, with a novice Toa named Onathei. Onathei defended the island for a time before passing on his power to Desurk, Xironu and Grunekt. Krakana, Roqini and Guutana came from the dead island of Batarknokk with Toa stones of their own, and the team of six eventually became Toa-Kal.

Dyteeli:

Dyteeli was originally home to seven types of Matoran, but now only houses Ga-Matoran, Ce-Matoran (Matoran of Radiation), and Ra-Matoran (Matoran of Rahi Control). It was one of the first islands in the dome to be colonized, and broke into civil war before long. The Turaga was killed in the battle, so the Ce-Matoran took over as government and banished the Pa-Matoran and Palif-Matoran for starting the war and the Ta-Matoran because of their general, who assassinated the Turaga. Each element on Dyteeli had a temple dedicated to it, but the Fire Temple, Plasma Temple and Plant Temple were destroyed after the exile of those Matoran. According to legend, the twelve Dairuno Stones were hidden in these temples. It's unknown what became of them when the temples were destroyed. A wandering Toa team visited the island one day and gave birth to nine Toa, among them Auserv, Barnoka, Krandorn and Zirralo. Auserv had come with five others--those five were killed in battle by the League of Six Kingdoms and Auserv was captured.

Batarknokk:

Batarknokk was a very dangerous island, filled with corrosive water and deadly Rahi. A toxin inside the island was apparently polluting the island. A group of mysterious beings one day invaded the island, trying to destroy it for "the good of the universe". They did not realize that there were Matoran on the island until it was too late. One of each of the types there--Ga-Matoran, Ko-Matoran, and Onu-Matoran--escaped to Ayomeii and became Toa. But the rest of the Matoran were eventually killed when the island was destroyed.

Rode Nui:

Rode Nui is a paradise, home to Ta-Matoran, Ga-Matoran, Ko-Matoran, Onu-Matoran and the only Le-Matoran and Po-Matoran in the entire dome. Like the island of Metru Nui, it had six different climates suited to the elements of the Matoran inhabiting it. Long ago, it was betrayed by an amnesiac Dark Hunter to the Brotherhood and ended up being a Brotherood breeding ground for Visorak. The Toa who have defended it--starting with Onan's team and currently Rillakop's team--have learned to live in peace with the Visorak, although they still attack them and send them off of the island whenever possible. Recently a group of Matoran led by the Ko-Matoran named Seer have begun looking for a legendary Mask of Energy called the Kanohi Kamika and reports indicate that a monster is stalking the island.

Deserted Island:

The Order of Mata Nui, secretly operating in the region around the time Destral was reported to be seen in the dome, found an island with traces of civilization once there. There are deserted Matoran villages, a mass grave, and a huge underground tunnel system with signs of security systems that might indicate well-protected civilizations deep underneath the island. Wandering in these tunnels and the wide plains of the overworld, many Order members have reported hallucinations of large, winged beasts or a being with a mask like Karzahni peering at them cautiously from behind a tree. Many more Order members have reported that... and never returned.

Small Archipelago:

A small group of islands south of Ayomeii is home to many non-Matoran species, including the Viduryea, a dull humanoid race that is as territorial as an animal. A scholar, leader, and "conquerer" of there people, Geoku, has attempted to control every island in the area. When he succeeds, he plans to move on to Ayomeii, and eventually expand his territory so much that he becomes a threat to the League of Six Kingdoms.

Tolliwam:

Home to the Tirrakir, a humanoid winged species. The Tirrakir defend their tropical home from the Skakdi that moved there from Zakaz around the time that the Brotherhood began experimenting on the species, wielding archaic weapons such as swords and shields. While they don't have "elements" like Matoran, they do have two separate races: the red Tirrakir keep their wings from childhood and are usually more agressive while the blue, docile Tirrakir shed their wings but retain the power of flight. They are led by a blue Tirrakir named Zeaku, and his advisor, a red Tirrakir named Tekarou.

And so there you go. Let me give you a hint: I've just revealed the location of nearly every island any of my epics will ever take place on, and within these many words are a few references to future happenings in my stories. For now, just know that the Tirrakir and Geoku the Viduryea will play large parts in my third epic, and that Batarknokk and the deserted island will be locations in the flashback trilogy I'm going to write after completing this one.
