Now to post what has happened over this past weekend (starting from Friday)

the banquet was so much fun! I got to stuff my face with not over cooked Turkey and mashed potatoes smothered with gravy, have cake and coffee then Swing dance the night away!!! I Love Swing dancing, I wish I could learn a bit more.

Saturday my family Finally went and got our Christmas Tree! We would have gotten it the first week but my father hadn't recovered enough from knee surgery to go. But I'm glad we could do it now! We took turns sawing the tree, took crazy pictures, and drank Hot Chocolate and Apple cider. But when we got home our house was full of smoke because the pot roast was left on the stove at too high a temp. So after opening a few windows and turning on a couple fans we went out for dinner.

Oh fun times.

Sunday morning was a little crazy. We all had to get up earlier then usual to help get my dad to a clowning gig he had for that morning. So after dropping him off we rushed to church (which was allot of fun because they had a skit going on. I Love Advent ). After church I met up with some other girls and we went out for lunch together. It was a blast! At lunch they tolled me about a cool swing event they were going to that night. A masquerade; and they invited me to come along. Man! What a blast! It was so crazyfun! There was a live band and everything!

Tell me what can beet wearing a mask and fancy dress and dancing swing with a short and slightly creepy old man?

Well today's surprise just might have.

Blog of the week... I can not believe it. I am honored and stunned. I didn't think many people even saw my blog to be honest.

But now I have a shiny banner and a glowy feeling inside.
