Finally

So there are Toyfair pics up on Bshelf Maj.

So I can finally post my opinion on the summer sets.

The "Newva" suck. Horribly. I cannot think of a single redeeming quality that they possess, other than that "Gali's" ears seem to be detachable.

Oh, and "Tahu", spikes do not go on the inside of the knee.

The villains don't look too bad, except for Gorast, whose Visorak head bugs me because it's used in conjunction with a humanoid torso.

I just think, silver limbs, silver limbs.... I want Tahu's feet, though. It looks like they used the old hand pieces. I wonder if those will stay.

I find it hard to judge the sets with awful pics of the prototypes.

I can say, however, that I'm happy the Nuva have silver parts (if indeed that is silver) and that Gorast's body is full of FAIL, as are Bitil's wings, which I thought would be Hahli Mahri's. Still, Toy Fair people are notoriously bad for setting things up, and they may be better than they look.

Edit: It looks like the projectiles are air-powered again.

Uh-oh, Omi said we can't discuss pics 'til BZP posts them.

Darn. >_<

For now, though, I've decided that I'll buy Gorast and Onua. The new Pakari looks like a Kraahken. And Gorast, while he has the wrong colored torso, is okay with his four arms.

These are the worst set prototypes I've ever seen.

But the weapons are neat-looking.

What the heck is up with Gali?!?

*hopes that these are early prototypes and that they are tentative*

Well, at least the villains look cool.

I refuse to believe that these are the Nuva. I mean, the original Toa Nuva looked like their previous forms, so why can't these even slightly resemble those? Even the Toa Metru's masks were similar to their Turaga masks, except for maybe Nuju. Apparently Lego has given up on making the sets correspond to the story.

Onua is the most redeemable, because his mask is kinda cool and vaguely resembles the original Pakari. From a distance.

Tahu's mask looks a little like his old one, minus the goatee and fins.

Autobots, roll out!

Right? :P

Edit: Ooh! They're putting up more, better quality pics!
