Wrinkledlion X Posted February 17, 2008 Here's where it's really at. And I love Onua. ... GALI DOESN'T NEED A SCOPE! Quote Link to comment
Takua the Wanderer Posted February 17, 2008 I sure hope Gali is a prototype... It would be a pain to go through all that stuff with Kongu again... Quote Link to comment
Bundalings Posted February 17, 2008 You like Gali, then? *eye twitches* I like her more than Onua and Gorast. Gorast wouldn't be bad if he had a different body... Here's where it's really at. And I love Onua. ... GALI DOESN'T NEED A SCOPE! Thanks for the link... There IS no signoff! Edit: Oi! look at the tags! $13 USD! Quote Link to comment

Mikerahk Posted February 17, 2008 The sets of good concepts, but the conceptualization of said concepts did not function correctly. I'm liking some of the weapons and parts, a couple masks look nice (onua and bitil). I'm looking froward to seeing the plastic versions in contrast to the current foam. Quote Link to comment
Ngakunui Posted February 17, 2008 Please tell me that all the canned ones besides Onua and Krika are prototypes. It would drive me insane if these are the final sets. They don't even look like official sets anyway. However, the larger, more complex sets are spectacular. I would happily pay the average 45 USD for them. I like how they follow the more Technic lines of the older sets, while still having an organic undertone to them. So yeah, they're awesome. Arguably the best large sets to come out in Bionicle's line since '01. -Gakurahk Quote Link to comment

Xaeraz Posted February 17, 2008 I like Onua. Gali reminds me of K-mahri, and Tahu's a mutant ninja. A MUTANT NINJA! Quote Link to comment
Aanchir Posted February 17, 2008 I must say I'm disappointed with the masks (the bodies don't really bother me at all so far), yet there are two good reasons I'm not giving up hope. One is that I haven't seen the masks in reality, though I doubt they would be nearly as suitable as the Matoran masks, and the second is that the masks to me scream "Toa Igniters." Fingers still crossed for Matoran masks, better, or nearly-as-good. EDIT: Makuta without masks... it's gonna be hard conforming these to my style. EDIT 2: NOOOOOO!!! Not MILKY-WHITE!!! Of course, Lyi has a really interesting theory on why this and the Exo-Force Blade Titan have milky white; he believes that that is simply what clear looks like in Metru-thigh-armor-style plastic. EDIT 3: Tahu's mask looks pretty good in this gallery. Still, not nearly so good as Solek's would have been as a Hau Nuva. EDIT 4: Gali's isn't as bad as anticipated, either. I suppose I can still use the Matoran masks in my drawings for new Nuva masks that aren't swamp-adapted, huh? But then the adapted ones might look even weirder, being physically the same mask rather than just masks of the same power. Guess once finalized official pics come out I'll just have to cook up some desperate comparison edits. EDIT 5: I wonder if Weird Pohatu and Weird Lewa (Rockoh and Axalara's riders) are supposed to be differently-adapted Pohatu and Lewa. Still, I'm holding out for new characters; seems kinda ridiculous to give Lewa two different masks in the same year. EDIT 6: I totally should have looked at those pics before posting.
