In More Detail.
So high-quality pics of the summer sets are flitting around; rather like flies, except that BZP isn't squishing them anymore.
Methinks I must review.
MakutaVillains:
Bitil: Mata yellow(so it seems), and no Metru head. this is a good thing. His mask is interesting, reminds me of Sidorak for some reason. Wing piece are awesome, very beetle-like, which, given his name, might've been done on purpose. I don't particularly like the foot design, though the upper leg claw/armour pieces look promising; good ribcage material. I detest the launcher and will say no more.
Gorast: My least favorite of the villains, due to the color scheme(Lego, that Inika torso exists in black), feet, and the fact that a Visorak head looks horrible on a humanoid set. At least his color scheme prevents the launcher ammo from looking horrendous and messing up the color scheme further. Only reason I'd get him is for the wings, which are the best insect wings Lego has produced to date(other than the Insectoids, but those were system).
Krika: Very Tyranid/Alien-esque, which is a good thing. And a color scheme, were it not for that launcher(which I prob'ly won't take out of the can). Head looks very useful, somewhat like a Rahkshi head/spine crossed with Takadox and Ehlek's spines. Blades look a bit wierd, but they're not bad. A definite buy.
I'm not even going to bother reviewing the Nuva, as my disgust cannot be effectively conveyed through any form of communication known to man.
Part Two coming sometime this week.
