Forestaff On A Moc?

I was thinking....

Would a forestaff (simply a few #10 or 12 rods together) on a Le-Toa MOC be OK? Or would it get too much criticism being "too simple"?

I think it would look awesome and I've been wanting to do it for a while now. I think it's something that a Le-Toa could definitely use.

Ha, did you censor that or did the filter?

It's not the filter. Ouch did that when he used the quote in his blog.

I'd say get a bunch of 2L pin extenders and put them on the axles. Might look better.

OK, sounds like a good idea, I think I can find that many black extenders, or just buy a bunch from ToddWebb.

So a forestaff is fine to you? Cool!

What about placing a bunch of those black gears on the rods to beef it up a little bit.

Assuming you have plenty of those black gears...

I don't have enough black gears.

Plus, if I did that, it would be too thick to do what I want to do. I want basically a stick, one that's super strong, that a Le-Toa uses to whak his enemies to Karzahni. Using the rod connectors is pushing it, IMO. I want this to be something light a Le-Toa would use. I'd say he'd carry it around too, but I'm thinking it might slide into itself, so it'll be easy and obvious he'd carry it around.
