Silly Lego...

If bright colors sell well, and they use them on canisters (Vamprah, Antroz), why don't they use them in sets? They're getting better, using lime, but I admit I'm sad that Gali and Tahu don't have Mata colors.

Silly Lego.

I had liked the bright colors simply because they had been used on the Phantoka Nuva and I thought they ought to be used on the Mistika Nuva as well. I took the canister colors of the Phantoka as a clue, and for reasons unknown the canister colors were maintained as predicted; the same not able to be said for the three canister colors not used in the Phantoka being kept in the Mistika.

I do say, however, that the dark colors work better with the silver than Mata colors would have, but I see this more as a reason the Mistika should have continued the "bley for Nuva" pattern established among the Phantoka.

I have an eerie feeling, of course, that the focus groups expressed much more enthusiasm for good-looking color schemes with shininess than good-looking color schemes with continuity. <_<

Eww, lime.

I wish they used red and blue, instead of dark red and dark blue.

And obviously I want their secondary color back, like orange and light blue. Only Onua has that out of necessity.

I dunno... the more I try to picture tan on a modern set the more I realize I can't.

I don't think the lime for Gorast is that bad (really I see little fault in Gorast), though in all fairness I expected darker colors for the Makuta Mistika than the Toa Phantoka had, a wish which was universally false. :( Likewise, I expected Mata red and blue for Tahu and Gali. I had no idea what to think for Onua Nuva, as Chirox's canister would have indicated bley, which I had theorized would be his neutral like the Nuva Phantoka.
