Gravity Hurts

-SZ-

Ah! Whoa! What's happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What's my purpose in life? What do I mean by 'Who am I'? Okay okay, calm down, calm down, get a grip now. Oh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? Its a sort of tingling in my...well I suppose I better start finding names for things. Lets call it a...tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what's this roaring sound, whooshing past what I'm suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It'll do. Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There's an awful lot of that now isn't it? And what's this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like 'Ow', 'Ownge', 'Round', 'Ground'! That's it! Ground! Ha! I wonder if it'll be friends with me? Hello Ground!

Poor Agrajag...
Seeing as I haven't read any of the books yet (yes, shocker!) I have no clue what you're talking about, but it is undoubtedly very funny, that I'm sure of.

I will read them eventually! :)

And the only thing that went through the petunia bowl's mind was "Oh no, not again".

Scientists believe that if we knew exactly why it had thought that, then we would know much more about the universe than we do now.

SZ, you must read the books. At least the first one. If you want to read more than that, I reccomend that you stop at Life, the Universe, and Everything. The last two make very little sense and aren't nearly as funny/not as good an ending.

Oh, way to ruin it, Arpy!

Don't worry, it's very funny indeed.

Do you know how to fly yet?

Edit: I agree with The Munki up thar. I read a few pages into "So Long" and gave up instantly. Haven't tried "Mostly Harmless", though.

XD I reread the book lately. As fun as it was the first time (and I could go on and on about the strangeness of the first time I read it).

The last two books didn't bother me so much, except I note that the longer the series went on the more it tried to mean something, and the last two represented the culmination of this disastrous trend which has spoiled many a comedy.

I shall read the first one. *salutes*
I really think it's rather sad... I would have liked to make friends with that whale...

Turakii

Sad? Yes. Funny. Heck yeah. :P

Yes, I know what you mean. In one part of the movie I got downright mad.
