I have now rickrolled omi... twice, I win.

No.

Now you are violating the advertising rules, plus anyone who clicks that link will be caught in this mess as well.

Remove it.

Edit: Also, your behavior is not needed. Unless you wanna wind up like most members who do things like this.

Removed etc.

But first of all, that site doesn't have forums, and the file/link does not contain any sort of "mess". I fail to see what you were getting at there.

When clicking the link, you can't close the window. That is the mess. That kind of stuff is not tolerated.

What? That's not the file that does it. The homepage of the website messes with the browser. Not the link destination, which is a harmless swf file.

Regardless, people will be led to the homepage.

Just like how sites indirectly link to forums, or something innappropriate. Which isn't allowed.

Indirectly link as in 2+ clicks away, or as in hosted on the same domain? It as always been my understanding that once a user decides to modify the url and navigate away, they are no longer at a page linked to, and regulated by, BZP rules.

Same can be said about Maj images, and we have rules regarding that.

Yes, but those only cover individual galleries. If the whole of maj was counted, there is sufficient "inappropriate" content to have the entire site banned. Same goes with any image host, video host, or other external site without BZP's harsh regulation.

So say I sent you a URL of some image, but turns out the site has a virus creeping around on it, but the image doesn't. Say you wanted to check out the site. Well now that you have, you get the virus.

Follow?

I follow that completely, but I was just noting discrepancies. I should stop before more rules get shot in my face. In any case, I claim my victory and take my leave.

I'm unlocking this for one reason.

MercenaryXero more than one of your comments in this entry have been disrespectful to the staff. It ends now. Your comment about how you got victory showed some of that. And honestly I fail to see this victory you speak, as Omi was entirely right in this situation. All I saw was rule breaking by you, which was unacceptable.

It wouldn't be wise to try that again.

Look, if anything I said sounded disrespectful, I did not mean it. I was just trying to have a civil discussion about rules. I would also like to point out that I removed the offending content first, then continued discussion. So there was no defiance, or disrespect. As for the victory, well, you really can't understand it without knowing who I am. Again, not meant as disrespectful, just something I do, an inside joke of sorts. And you can't deny that my points weren't valid, as they were about inconsistencies and pseudo-rules.

And really, you don't need to post "it ends now" when I had already ended it.
