Huzzah! Both of us are on the mend now.

I am referring to my horse and I: My "microbial assailants," as Wind put it, have largely abated, so I'm feeling much better now. My horse's leg is also almost entirely healed; he has been taken off the antibiotics, and the vet cme out today and said that I would just have to watch it and make sure it didn't swell up again. Everything in that regard is looking up.

Additionally, I finished an mildly ambitious web-based endeavor I was constructing for a friend today. Everything is ship-shape and functioning properly, and it looks great. I'm rather proud of the accomplishment overall--always a satisfying feeling.

Also, I got the chance to fiddle with a small ballistic engine today--that was rather fun. I now have an intense desire to create one of my own, I must admit.

None of this helps the fact that I feel like the world's grandest moron right now. However, that is an issue I'm not going to expound upon, so I'll end this with the thoughts of my eventful day and the fact that an excellent Pink Floyd song is filling my ears right now.
