Mata Nui does not die since Matoran Universe has living beings in it.

ANSWER: Neither is correct. There are ways Mata Nui can wind up forested intentionally, not by accident, and when this is not necessary, the Bohrok come and clean it off. That is why they exist. The red star beings have not and never will come down to Mata Nui or the domed universe.
