My birthday just had to lie in a time where I was flooded with work - 9 assignments, gasp! - and was stressed to a breaking point.

The general wisdom is that, it's your birthday, it should be a happy day, you should be happy - others are telling you to have a 'Happy Birthday', aye? - but, I don't really feel it.

I felt spent and tired. The gifts did help - got a bottle of Estee 'Super Eau de Parfum' from my mum, a Queen CD from my sister, a tube of seaweed bath gel from a friend of Mum's, a bracelet and a 'Diva' strap from my neighbour, a moleskine from Kevin. A friend, Andre, promises a Bumblebee when he gets it from the internet auction.

And the birthday dinner was good too. It doesn't feel so great, given the current situation of 'assignment-overload-and-not-enough-time', but it's something at least.

To the others who shared the same birthdate as me, happy birthday!
