Toa Team Wiped
I've finally figured out the general look of all my Toa and what masks they'll have (very important) for my epic, so maybe once I make some names I'll be more reluctant to write the story.
Here they are! I'd like your opinions (and please pay attention to my thoughts) on what I have so far:
Brown Toa:
I'm thinking without. The sash would have been cool on a paper-thin body like the Inika torso, but not here. I've changed just a little more, and I think he's done.
Storyline-wise, he's a weapons master.
I think she's done. I might take off the left hand claw, which I call the "shark's tooth" for a reason: She's half Toa, half Hordika. Her transformation back to a Toa didn't quite finish, so occasionally her aggressive, Hordika side kicks in, usually in the water (her "natural" environment). It should make for an interesting character to not have a soothing Ga-Toa. (That's also why she has fins on her arms and a dorsal fin, as well as the bohrok eyes on her feet (maybe some bohrok teeth in the front) and that sharp silver thigh armor.)
Lekia, Toa of Air. I'm pretty sure, but I think a wide shoulder might be bad. I've thought it over but haven't been inspired yet to make something thinner. But 8 studs wide isn't bad. And his body does look airy. (Oops, he has a green head. I better but the right head back soon.)
Storyline-wise, he wields a boomerang. I don't think I've seen a Le-Toa with one of those yet.
Toa of Earth
Originally, it was the Pakari, but that's "standard" and I wanted to tryout the Huna. (After having tried all my other black masks, including a black Ruru, which is also "standard.") I think this looks great.
He's hunched, clawed, and I like him. I do worry about the long arms in relation to the short legs, but I've pictured various Onu-Toa with ape-like stances.
(Note, he will have dark green eyes, I need to remember to switch that.)
Kapyro, Toa of Fire
He's done, except for the black (++) on his sword, which will be red.
He has harnessed his power over fire so well, he has practically become it. (Picture The Human Torch from the Fantastic 4.) So he makes his own fire sword out of flame. (If he's underwater or something, he has crafted a small sword forged from pure fire.)
This one needs the most work. The body was made two nights ago, and refined, but I need to make it a little more straight (or not curved) to match the arms. That, or change the arms. But I really like the arms, so we'll see where I go with it. Also, the mask is grey, not white, so that's different. (As Omi said, the hat should match the shoes. Oh well.)
I definitely wanted a shield on a Toa of Ice. I'm also glad I was able to use the Pridak foot for chest armor.
How are they?
