Tachi- Blue and yellow. Perfect for a Toa of Electricity, IMO. Though I did like the purpley-pink color you had for her...

Komas- Silver and white.

And bust lady's proportions are better this time.

And about the art, they looked better then the previous one although there were some minor flaws in it.

I guess the names came from a robotic character called Tachikoma from Ghost in the Shell. Well I just the names for fun, not really interest on the sneak peek.

I hope you feel better soon. We watched the fireworks, as well as a Star Wars: a new hope(watching the Death Star blow up could also be considered fireworks ).

Dang. well, if weather was even a bit worse where you were, the fireworks got canceled, because they almost didn't do them here. ><

Impressive. Personally I think the colour schemes in the bottom left of the first drawing look great IMO, although if you want to personify their elements, I'd say gold-and-white or gold-and-black for Taichi and lime green for Komas, although add a bit of pencil to darken the lime green.

I'm pretty sure Taichi is one form of the word electricity in Japanese. Through logical reasoning, I say Komas is a form of either the word "Sonic" or "Sonics" in Japanese.

In short, I believe that it's that their names are their elements in Japanese.

If not, I do have a second theory. If guess #1 was wrong, I'm pretty sure, though not as much about the Japanese puns thing, that each is a form of Asian philosophy. Japanese or Chinese, I don't recall which one at the moment as I just woke up. ><

I'm gonna have to go with Yellow and light blue for the female and I think a brown and red combination for the goggle man. I love the designs so far and look forward to seeing the finished articles.

InsaneKungFuCharSiewPower won, the inside joke/reference was from the anime Ghost in the Shell and there are robotic characters called ‘Tachikomas’. Though I’ll tell you now to any who are familiar with the anime, these two Toa characters are nothing like Tachikomas, and it’s just a reference.

Though, InsaneKungFu pointed out he is not interested in the sneak peak so I’ll give the prize to Toa Zakir who guessed next. I apologize for the lame prize though. xD

I’ll have to look that up, because as I said I thought of the name from the anime characters Tachikomas, and that is a Japanese name apparently, so I’ll have to look up and see what Tachi and Komas would mean.
