Tie Breaker Challenge

Ok peoples, due to the fact that our Duelists are tied for the Champion status, I have decided to do a mini tie-breaker challenge.

Duelists, your mini challenge is this:

You must build a MoC that uses no more than 20 pieces. You can build whatever you like, just don't go over that limit. Pegs/bushings/axles do not count into the number limit.

You now have until Sunday evening to send in your MoC, but the sooner the better. The actual voting shall last for one day (Monday).

So, get MoCin'! I smell chibiness... :sly:

Sorry, DV just brought to my attention that the last vote in the third round was invalid, due to it's being submitted too late. I apologize. -_-

This is what I wish BBC contests would be like, not the "We're gonna say outright it'st a free build contest, but in reality, it is" kinda thing.

Bonus of 5 votes seems a little much... Maybe 2?

Hmmm... perhaps you are right, I shall lower it to three.

Maybe none?

How boring, that makes the challenge much easier.

Bah... You should have asked your sibblings whose name is better, Roa McToa or Darth Vader. << Whoever they picked would win. :P

Or you could have even gotten them to look at the MoCs. =O

But then would that not defeat the purpose of having a duel? ;)

and GBG, I think there shall be no vote bonuses, like DV said. Votes are counted as one, as always. :)

Hmphh... You're right. =/ But then again, there was supposed to be three rounds so one person was winner yet some how there was a tie. <<

Also vote bonuses are bad. =o

Well yes, tonight that is. If DV doesn't get his in before Midnight, Roa automatically wins... (she has sent hers in already)

Well, if midnight is the deadline, then I won the last round, as the last post happened several hours after CST midnight that you judge by. ;)

But as is, I'm most likely out for this one. Time doesn't exist this weekend. It's been a big one.

Well, looks like we had a fun duel DV. I would consider us tied for this one if ya don't make anything, although, I would like to see what you can build with 20 pieces not including connectors.....

GBG, I think you should make your duels only one round, and if there is a tie, then use a sudden death match.

When you have to build several mocs in short periods of time, it kindof burns one out.

Give them an extra day to build, and only one dueling round. THAT would make an awesome "mocists duels" contest. More time, better mocs! :)

To be perfectly honest DV, I am being very flexible with this, and thus if you were to get your MoC sent in an hour or two late, then I wouldn't mind. ;) Roa is behind me time zone wise, and thus, her creation got to me "after midnight" when for her it was before. Never mind, I see what you were referring to now, and thus, I think that it is safe to say that you won by a very close margin! I shall post up the results blog entry promptly...

Yeah, I understand about having only one round, that way I could hold more in a month. And I understand as well about you getting burned out, I am kindof the same way. This was, after all, my first try at hosting a contest! ;)

I shall take your suggestion to mind for the next duel. :)
