Using A Blog For Its Intended Purpose For A Change
Well, here are the goings on.
Past two days I spent working on a paper for my college English/Lit course (English 102). I go to post it to the Blackboard and suddenly realize that I wrote a compare/contrast essay on The Destructors by Graham Greene and Young Goodman Brown by Nathaniel Hawthorne, whereas the assignment indicated that it was supposed to discuss The Destructors and The Rocking-Horse Winner.
So at the suggestion of my parents, I fired an email to my professor asking if there's any way he would accept it or if I would be able to get an extention on the deadline to rewrite it (as the deadline is tonight at midnight).
Considering not going on the summer youth retreat this year. For the first time ever, there's no fundraiser--so you have to pay for it out-of-pocket. And it's about $80 more than it was last year, and will be arguable less awesome (less people go to youth group nowadays). Yes, once I get paid for last week's 24.5 hours of work and doing my mom's web design, I'll almost certainly make up the difference. But giving away $199 dollars to a MYSTERY TRIP (they don't tell you where you're going) is a bit foreign to me.
Plus there's a thing that takes place at the same time that I might ask a girl to. I dunno.
Um, my dad painted my room. Tan and dark blue. It's really awesome. Now all I have to do is clean it. >.>
And in conclusion, who wants to guess how much a $1000 Mexican peso coin is worth? Any guesses? I'll reveal it soon.
...the answer is within the comments.
