S&T Contest #2 Review: "Craving For Destiny"

Staying with the Voya Nui theme, the next story we'd like to highlight is Gali_toa_of_the_sea's "Craving For Destiny."

The story begins with Dalu performing her daily chores--mainly, searching for food and water. A nice picture of the bleakness of life on Voya Nui. She notices clouds over the sea, but Velika warns in his obscure way that it may not be the drought-ending rain everyone's been hoping for. Dalu bets her breakfast that the rain will be a good thing.

The next morning, she awakes to find happy Matoran playing in the rain. But before she can join the fun, a Matoran rushes in, shouting that a landslide is headed their way! The Matoran scatter. Dalu hangs around to see the landslide.

You'll want to read this one to find out the unique way Dalu escapes. It could very well could end up a new Voya Nui sport!
