Emoticons can not express the sympathy my heart does feel for you, oh poor dog-less one. May your loved ones walk be great in gone-dog heaven, and they find many old friends that died long before.

I can't help but cry a little for your dog and you. Human kind knows no greater bond then the one they share with their dog. A dog loves unconditionally and never asks for anything other then a kind hand to rub behind it's ears once in a while. It truly is a sad loss to lose such a wonderful companion. My heart goes out to you.

Just be glad that you didn't lose a family member two days earlier, like I did in April 2004, when my Guinea Pig Two-Spots and Grandmother died. I thought I'd never even get a glimpse of happiness again, but I have been happy since then. Just remember the good times you had with your dog. Even if you don't like the idea, but when you're ready get a new pet. I got my dog Val in October 2004, and she helped me feel better tremendously.
