This is for everyone who is using/thinking of using any type of 'Signature Pet', whether it be Kratta, Raptors, Leechies, Dragon Eggs or whatever it may be.

 

It's called the Signature Guidelines.

 

Read them. Know them.

 

Please, if you value the wonderful existence of your signature, make sure it follows the rules when adding any cool thingamabobs or doodads to it.

 

For example: If you have a 468x60 or 250x100 banner and decide to add a pet to your sig on top of that, realize that it WILL be removed. The limits are the limits, please respect that. If you want a pet in your sig, you will have to adapt your other images accordingly.

 

Make sure this also counts for the combined filesizes - remember that 100KB is the limit (about 100,000 bytes).

 

Do not be surprised if your sig containing one of every type, color, and size of pet and each individual description suddenly disappears, either. ;)

TOPIC STARTERS:

 

I know several have done this already and I appreciate it, but please - if you could make sure that members are aware of the signature guidelines before using your creations, that would be a great help - just providing a link to the Sig Guidelines in the first post can work wonders. :)

And I totally agree. These sig pets not only exceed the Signature Guidelines but they're getting annoying with all those new pets popping up every day... <.<

 

Maybe they should ban sig pets... for the best. I might PM B6 about it as a suggestion, but I'm not sure.

I've stated in my Kuddly Kraata Topic that you may only use 4 kraat at a time with no other images. I'll also add that you may not use the pets if you already have a banner that is 250x100 or 468x60, unless you remove that banner and use the pets. :)

and I was about to adopt a leechy too...

 

You can still adopt one, but you'll have to either change the size of your current banner or get a new one, otherwise it will be violating the Sig Guidelines. ;)

Uh.... I don't think I should be here.... ( hurry up with my banner Icy J my drago can't hold off all these people). But your right. I saw this guy with like every sig pet except dragon eggs, poke'mon and a few others.

No, they're not.

 

But it gets annoying to see sig pets constantly pop up and people exceeding the guidelines. Remember the "What is your plan?" fad in CoT. There were all kinds of topics... zombie plans, normal life plans, alien plans... like everything.

 

They were banned eventually.

Finally. Those annoying things should be banned. They get more replies than ACTUAL art. There are people with like 9 different ones in their sigs.

 

IMO, those things dont even look good. :P
