I just spent forty minutes thinking I was locked out of my room and killing time.

Campus security finally comes by and unlocks my door and I head in and guess what? My ID card (and room key) was not on my desk.

No. As it would turn out, when putting it back into my wallet, I'd accidentally stuck it into some random pocket BEHIND my normal school ID and a bunch of other stuff including last year's Columbia ID and some calling cards. A pocket I only bothered to check when I'd come back in to find that the keycard was nowhere to be found.

At least I know I can trust my good habits of putting my card back in my wallet as soon as I'm done with it. I just wasted forty minutes though.

I was sitting in the common area "watching" Sweeny Todd but honestly, with all those drama kids who've seen this movie a million times already simply chatting away over it at some points and singing along at others, I couldn't hear what any of the actors were saying beyond a few snatches that didn't convey the meaning of the story at all. :\

Also, I gotta say this anime stuff is addictive as [bleh I can't mention that on BZP]. O_O

In fact I think the seriousness of the ones I watch has rapidly deteriorated (though considering I've only been at this three, four weeks, can't say much about it). I mean, first I watched Neon Genesis Evangelion which is about as deep and sybolic and philosophical and stuff as it gets. Then I get diverted with Haruhi Suzumiya which is drastically more lighthearted, though there are those serious moments and plot turning points and philosophical stuffs.

As a direct result of having watched Haruhi I found myself curious about Lucky Star (same studio, voice actor, references/shoutouts etc.) which is about as far on the other side of "serious" as it gets.

But the random "Seinfeld conversations" are funny XD.
