If you really used it to see how popular MOCotW is, wouldn't it be on the MOCotW page?

I use it to see how popular the site is, in general. I take note of the hit counter's number each day, and then compare from day to day. In general, Sunday attracts the most visitors, and that's because of MOCotW.
