College
As I'm sure at least some of you know, like Watashi Wa, I am in college now. I got some time before my next class, so:Almost done my first week of classes. Let's see, I have:
Latin on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (yes, ToM, Latin 8D)
Math on Mondays and Wednesdays
Ghost Tradition in Fiction and Film on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Intro to College Writing on Tuesdays and Thursdays
Europe in the 19th Century on Tuesdays and Thursdays
And I have a buttload to read this semester. Already made a number of friends through Orientation, and made friends with a couple upperclassmen today (they moved in a few days after us Freshman). Well, technically upperclassmen; one's a Sophomore. And I joined the ULTIMATE FRISBEE CLUB (YES) after an "introductory" Ultimate Frisbee tournament on Saturday. We were team RamRod. We made it to the semifinals before we lost to Team Shake N' Bake, which were the ROTC guys. But then, for whatever reason, we were still in the semifinals, but lost again to the Barracudas. It was great (the game, I mean, not the losing).
I know most everyone on my floor by now. At least on this side of the staircase, I mean, plus a few people on other floors. Everyone's wireless internet wouldn't work after a few days, though, so we all went to the bookstore and bought ethernet cords.
Anyway, not much else happening. Oh! I did get some writing done, which I'm pretty happy with (inspiration comes from the weirdest places). Well, that's about it; I gotta fill out a Library form and maybe do my Latin homework before History, so... wewt college!
