Here are the top two games of the college football scene for this week.

9/12 Friday, 8 PM ET #12 Kansas Jayhawks @ #19 South Florida Bulls

A premier matchup of two teams wanting to prove they belong in the football scene now. Kansas will be trying prove their outstanding season last year is no fluke while South Florida wants to make a legit claim to being the Big East team to beat with loss of West Virginia. Look for this to be a higher scoring game than predicted, as each team have special quarterbacks in Todd Reesing (KU) and Matt Grothe (USF). But KU has the better defense and returns a highly experienced team that has been tested last year. So with that said, Kansas will win this game 31-27.

9/13 Saturday, 8 PM PM ET #4 Ohio State Buckeyes @ #2 USC Trojans

A great treat we get this weekend as the Buckeyes travel to the Colisuem to take on the Trojans in this clash of titans. Stingy defenses, high powered offenses, what more could you ask for in a championship atmosphere game. USC however, has the advantage, getting to rest its players an extra week more than Ohio State, who doesn't have a 100 percent Chris Wells. USC also never loses these type of games at home, and has had more prep time. Still, Ohio State is as talented as USC and has a great coach as well. We finally get to see a Pete Carroll team face off against a Jim Tressel team. This game will a back and forth slugfest and should not be decided until the final minutes. I am going to give USC the nod, a 28-24 victory over the Buckeyes.
