Plausible only means that it's conceivable and therefore a definite possibility. That doesn't mean it's certain, and therefore one can have reasons to doubt it, as with any possibility, no?

because there's 95% a hadron collider will work, but 5% chance the laws of physics will create a black hole at that exact moment in time... duh?
