Life inevitably sucks sometimes. It sucks a lot, actually, after a certain point. But, if we can get a little goodness or joy along with all the blah-ness, we can still have fun! Heck, I started singing that song to myself, and after a few repetitions, I was so cheerful I was just about crazy. Part of the craziness was probably caused by the fact that I could only remember the chorus, but even so.

So let's experiment: try it! If you're feeling down, sing (or hum, if you're a bad singer or are in public) this song. Even just in your head. Might want to look up the rest of the lyrics, so you don't go insane. See what happens. If you try it, let me know how it works out for ya. If you think it's a waste of time to even try, or the whole philosophy thing is lost on you...

So yeah, just a thought. Personally, I'm going to try it when I feel all depressed and see if it works. If not, I'll just keep on poking around until I figure something else out.
