4. Other emo people are drawn to this, and they get together and listen to Dead and Dying Because You Killed Me or some other emo band.

Then there's screamo, which is completely different for obvious reasons :

4. Other screamo people are drawn to this, and they get together and form a band called As I Lay Dead Your Breath Smells Like Mouthwash or some other screamo band.
