Don't worry, the pain fades in a few days. Just eat soft waffles and various other non-hard-and-crunchy foods or breakfast; it's going to hurt every morning for the first week or so, then it'll be fine.

Just kidding. Frankly, if another guy had come up and kissed me, I would have just said "EW!" Interpret that however you will. Anyways, I don't really know what to say. I never really imagined what it was like to have braces, nor do I notice much when people wear them. If it's painful, however, then I'm glad that I have straight teeth.
