As a "set" the design is absolutely freaking hideous.

Just about every pic there looks like the junk one slaps together while getting a feel for new parts right before making a moc.

The angle connectors are essential for the Power Functions parts. Go buy them NAO.

I just want to know where exactly it went from "hey let's go mine some crystals and maybe defend ourselves if the aliens attack" to "hey let's go blast the heck out of those aliens and maybe mine a few crystals if we have time afterward".
