~X-Clone~ Posted December 16, 2008 Okay, I'm thinking of doing a video, and I've got a rough outline sketched out. The thing is, how long can the video be? I know you want it concise, but my (rough) outline is sitting at about eight minutes long. Would you consider that to be too long? If so, how short should I cut it down to? Quote Link to comment

That sounds reasonable to me. Quote Link to comment
Dr. Keerakh Posted December 27, 2008 Would something like a movie trailer be okay? You know, like a preview for a whole movie of Bionicle? Even if the years are out of order? -Dr. K Quote Link to comment

Phyoohrii Posted January 1, 2009 A couple of questions again. Am I allowed to have absolutely no dialogue at all, as long as what is happening is clearly shown? Can we feature some of the more obscure parts of the story as well, like the pre-history and serials and things like that? And yeah, do the story elements necesserily have to be in chronological order (depending on release year or BIONICLE canon), or can they be mixed around a bit to add creative license, as long as (again) it is clear what each part is representing? Zeddy Posted January 10, 2009 Is there blog entry revival? Either way, is there a limit to the size [dimension] of the entry? Mine is currently 800x600, but it's falling short. So would 1000x800 be too much? [This isn't a life or death situation, but if it'll be too much trouble having a large image, I can use the smaller one.] [it's just I'd prefer the larger one. ] Nevermind all that. Have you fixed a deadline for it yet? Quote Link to comment
Jaicho Posted March 17, 2009 Yay! Extension! (only noticed the contest last week) Anyway, on to the question: if we enter a group of MoCs, should we still post it in the S&T forum? 'Cos if we post it there, I don't think it would get much attention...or am I allowed to post a topic there as well as in the BBC forum? Could you also verify if my reasons for each revamp are good enough?:Onua Mata - The wisest of the Toa Mata; also was the default character in the canceled PC gameTahu Nuva - Leader of the Toa NuvaTakanuva - This one should be obvious...Onewa Metru - Wanted to be leader of the Toa Metru at one pointMatau Hordika - Rescued Vakama from the "Dark Side"Matoro Inika - Constantly mentioned his destiny was intertwined with the IgnikaHahli Mahri - Was in her own territory"Toa" Ignika - *Refer to #6.We do have to have reasons for each, right? I think I'd rather you only post one topic, though, whether you do it in S&T or BBC (and I recommend BBC). You can link to it in your sig though. 2) Those reasons are fine. Just about any (positive) reasons you feel like are acceptable. 3) You don't really "have" to, although I'd imagine that everybody must have some kind of reason. But your own personal reasons are A-OK. Having storyline reasons enhances the entry too, of course, and I agree that yours make good sense. Also Onua was the one that was promoed originally for Bionicle. The biggest stretch is Onewa Metru, but it does make sense. Quote Link to comment

Wait, Onua was...Oh, rly? (sorry; coudn't resist!!) I never knew that about him, thanks! Also, I know that Onewa's reason doesn't really work, but I wanted to include all 6 basic elements, and couldn't really think of anything. Would you happen to know if there has been any other MoC entries yet? Quote Link to comment
Mel Posted April 3, 2009 Everybody here seems to be doing either music videos or collages. Could I do something else...like something that involves writing? Because it's not short at all. The deadline extension basically saved my life. Quote Link to comment
bonesiii Posted April 6, 2009 If it's more a short story (or short epic) than a traditional lengthy epic, it's fine. Quote Link to comment
