I like how my relatives always give me gift certificates for bookstores. And how I always give them gift certificates for bookstores. And then we open up our presents together and hey! We all get gift cards! Often to the same bookstores! Often in the same denominations! And then we wonder why we even bothered!

I have to admit that it's a pretty awesome tradition.
