That is exactly, down to the phrasing "crystal and iron," how I had imagined the Great Beings' fortress. Exactly.

And another coincidence: I had been planning a while ago to draw a white Makuta Teridax...

Well, all those serials were odd.

 

Vultraz got abducted by aliens, Zaktan exploded ( D= not kewl Greg ), Toa Hagah are now messed up in the head, Brutaka and Axonn are somewhere in a deep hole, and Mazeka got himself a rare white Teridax. Gotta Catch 'em all!

This Teridax-as he was meant to be-I believe, will become a major player in the 2009 serials and eventually finish Makuta's destiny.
