Castovre Barrui (or Beriu, with dependance on your nationality) had never seen a cup before.
Tharfore, at his first encounter with one, in a shop of Foreign and Exotic Artifacts and Wares, he was so perplexed at such a device, he deemed it to be a hat.
But who could possess so small a head as to fit within this particular piece of headgear?
He asked verious members of his (rather large) family, though none of them had observed a cup before either. They all had different conclusions as to what Castovre was describing. "It's an artistic scupult," one declared, while another told him "It must be a map." But Castovre Barrui remained determined it was an odd form of headwear. But not for a Marren like he.
And so he set out, as many do, to find a race of Ippifolk with heads small enough to wear such an adornment. But in no means was Castovre the journeying type, and rarely is any Marren. Redredifuld, his sister, recommended he send out an Essenge throughout the realm, with a message requesting one Ippizen from every race come visit him so he may test which of them fit the hat he found.
For months no-one came. And for more months, the same. He sent the same Essenge out once again (much to its protest), and only then did somebody arrive at the door of his family's treeburrow. Much to Castovre's surprise, this particular visitor was an Underfolk! Dressed in thick, dark robes, with a massive shadeleave guarding it from the sun, she introduced herself as Hijiu (Underfolk never have last names).
I'm bored and don't feel like continuing this story. So, um, you continue it!
