I do that, though I don't consider it to be a hobby that has the potential for it to be fun. I do that more because I need to do that, rather than having an actual joy to do so.

As for Gundam Kits, probably. It's more due to the fact that they (For me, at least) are only obtainable through the internet, and so requires extra work on my part in order to actually get a set and ready order lined up XP

You can always check local hobby stores, some do import them.

Have you considered taking up a sport?

Been there, done that. They aren't fun when ran by a school, or an actual team. It's not fun for me, and turns into more work to go into the pile of a lot. I do sports with friends, well, back in Houston I did. Since that was purely fun, and there was no real competition or preparations.

I've been on four Baseball teams, did golf once... was part of an undefeated Tennis team (I was terrible cuz I applied Baseball logic), and... well attempted Basketball, but that's not my sport. Played some street hockey, as well as some ice hockey... though I suck at everything on ice XP

And played some football that was for pure fun.

And as for following professional sports for a hobby... no... that's a bit... well, I'd die of boredom essentially.
